South Athletic Booster Club membership is encouraged for families of all soccer players. The Athletic Boosters have been a welcome support of our programs.

Membership in the Rebel Rousers Soccer Booster club is also encouraged. Without this club, MANY things would not have been bought or done for our soccer teams.

Membership applications to both groups have been distributed, are available at the home game concession stand, or by e-mailing hu1225@aol.com, or yfuchs4@aol.com

Brandon Willingham attended the February 26 UEFA Cup match between Liverpool and Levski-Sofia at Anfield. Steven Gerrard and Harry Kewell tallied second half goals four minutes apart to lead The Reds to a 2-0 home win in the

first leg of the third round. Kewell is pictured celebrating his goal to secure the home result.

On Saturday, Brandon attended the Manchester City / Chelsea match. Chelsea took the points with a 1-0 win over the visitors from Man City and American Claudio Reyna.

The new scoreboard at South’s soccer field was put into action for the first time at the Red/White game on February 28^th. Many other improvements to the field are planned for the future including widening the field, better drainage, and lights.
