FOR SPRING 2003 SEASON
Great
Season! See the complete statistics I am very proud of
what the boys were able to accomplish as the youngest team in the region and possibly
in the entire state! The foundation
that we put in place over the past four months should ensure the success of
the program for years to come. The
boys efforts and dedication are the reasons for our success! A few notes to help the boys keep the
disappointing finish in context: Brandon Willingham
sets school scoring record (21 goals) Four players named
1st or 2nd team all-conference First winning record
at South in seven years! Toughest schedule
ever played by a South team (my opinion, but hard to argue) Of 7 losses (6 by
two goals or less) 48 goals for/26
goals against We have officially
served notice that the South has risen again!
Study hard and remember our academic goals! I sincerely hope that the last seventeen
weeks have changed all of the boys lives for the better. I look forward to next spring when we will
"take the next step". —Tom LaGuardia District
