The Total Soccer Player Academy is dedicated to providing a professional soccer environment for the “serious soccer player.” The Director and staff strive to create an atmosphere for the elite player. Our staff is hired on the basis of their knowledge and professionalism.

Tactical Training

Tactical sessions focus on the advanced tactics that are a must at a competitive level. Sessions include: Transition, team shape, creating space, decision making, and more.

Lecture Series

Each afternoon, the academy staff will present a lecture directed at topics that are essential for the serious soccer player. Past lectures have included: Attacking tactics, defending tactics, sports physiology, psychology of the game, and college recruiting.

Technical Training

Morning sessions focus the fundamental technical skills needed to become an elite player. The technical sessions for TSP in 2004 include: Passing, finishing, receiving and turning, heading, dribbling, and more.

Match Play

Local college coaches will be invited to attend match play.

Goalkeeper Training

Goalkeepers will receive specific instruction during the morning technical sessions. GK training ranges from technical demands to organizing the back line.

All TSP Academy campers should arrive on Monday June 21^st at 8:30 to check in. Final payments are due at this time.

Cost

The cost for the 2004 TSP Academy is $150. A $10 discount will be applied to any application paid in full and received by June 1, 2004. The cost of enrollment includes a soccer ball, t-shirt, tuition, supplemental insurance, and training / facility related fees. Campers can receive a box lunch daily for an additional $25 fee (5 days).

Ages

The 2004 Total Soccer Player Academy is designed to teach the advanced techniques and tactics that are required for the high school club, and future collegiate player. For this reason the academy will be accepting applications from 13 year olds and up.
